Fall means scarves...
I think I'm coming to terms with the cooler weather and with fall being just around the corner. I've been having so much fun and have been going a little crazy with the scarves lately. This little number was created with all things borrowed from my Mom's HUGE stash of fabric. Adding to that, it was insanely easy. I cut about a yard and a half of cream knit fabric, (6 inches wide). I then found several different kinds of lace that I liked and pinned them along the length of the knit fabric and sewed a straight stitch to keep in place. I added a button for some visual interest and VOILA, a super cute, super easy scarf. Maybe September will be my scarf month as I have another fantastic scarf to show you tomorrow. Again, this one is so easy you'll die!
Here are a few of my other projects I've been working on. Nothing fancy, but I love them anyhow.
I couldn't resist showing you this picture of my daughter dancing in her room.
Also, I walked into my room and found her sporting the headbands she pulled out of my hair/accessories drawer. "She's a maniac, maniac!!!!" I love her!

I absolutely love your lace scarf. I have a cream colored scarf I don't use because it is so plain but now I know exactly what to do with it. How about a tutorial for making an adorable infinity scarf? I found a tutorial for one but it is so confusing.

ReplyDeleteTiff, I really like the lacey scarf! You and your gorgeousness make it look even better! ;)
